NASCE WWW.MYMINUTES.ORG - freeze your time

P.S. QUI anche in Inglese.

The story of MyMinutes.org and Daniele Alberti

As I speak in this my article, during the recent and first for me Bloggers' Party I met lots of unusual and very interesting people, and we spoke about their exciting projects. All famous Bloggers and/or Evangelists for their projects, the friends or just guests of Luca Conti invited by Luca to Pandecena 2.0 in Milan.

The week followed Pandecena 2.0, I was checking the references, projects, contacting those people or probably they were contacting me as we agreed, and we were presenting each other's projects to some other people that could be of help in development and promotion of the initiatives. I want to speak now about Daniele Alberti, Creator and Owner of MYMINUTES.ORG

Take a look at the professional profile of Daniele- it's all about creativity, new ideas, leadership, success stories! He has successfully launched ALTREMENTI still followed by him, and the other his well known project is Bakeca. I saw some materials brought by Daniele to Pandecena 2.0, and it was all of the highest quality, out of doubts!

And now there is also MyMinutes.org, the project that may seem 'crazy' at the first look ;) But in fact it's a very cool and innovative idea. It's just needed to push it and I am sure the clients of Daniele will be the happiest people in the world,- able to FREEZE THEIR TIME.

Isn't it exciting? Of course we're all different by the nature, some are dreamers, romantics, and the others are more scientific- technical. I think Daniele is reaching the first category, although I wish him good luck with the second also :)

Please let me place here some text from the official presentation/ press-release about MyMINUTES.ORG, and I gonna play myself with the web site, I have an account and few free-minutes presented to me by Daniele

WWW.MYMINUTES.ORG - freeze your time

525,600 minutes, which will be displayed into eternity, so as to tell of dreams, memories and events which occur in the 24 time zones in a collective project based on time and space.

Myminutes.org is here, the first collective sentimental calender which gathers beautiful moments, a window in which it is possible to associate the minutes of a solar year to the most significant moments of one’s life.

The user who accesses the site has the possibility to buy one or more minutes and have the home page all to himself every year for these selected minutes where they can publish whatever they desire: photos, videos, audio clips, text, poems, stories or links to their own site or blog.

Minutes will be exclusively owned by the first user to buy them, after which nobody else can buy the minutes in question.

The “minute-freezer” or the owner of the minute, can, therefore use their minute in many ways: to give as a special present, to commemorate and share significant episodes of their lives, their birthday, their first kiss, their wedding, their anniversary, freezing forever their emotions through an image or a video clip.

The acquired Minutes will be visible on the home page in every time zone at their corresponding time and will be replayed at the same time every year thereafter. The minutes can be indexed or searched for through a keyword or if the minute becomes popular it will appear directly on the homepage’s top list of most voted or commentated on minutes.

It is possible to buy a minute or give it as a present to loved ones for as long as they are available. (525,600 equal to one solar year) Once all the minutes are sold the site cannot resell them. To buy a minute the owner has to be contacted directly. Contact information can be found only if the owner consented to the option when originally buying the minute.

After buying their time-space” the user will receive via e-mail a “Purchase Document” which is an ownership certificate, a tangible record of your ownership that can be kept or given as a gift. Inside the community it is possible to move around in full freedom, sharing feelings or thoughts with others, except what is considered objectionable or obnoxious material.

The money earned from the sale of the minutes (one minute = 1 Euro ) will be used to create and launch new innovative web projects.

The buyer will be kept informed of every iniative through a newsletter by email ( if requested upon Registration ) and through the onsite blog.

The creator of Myminutes
Daniele Alberti,
twenty-eight, lover of free expression and creativity of all kinds. graduated in Industrial Design from the Faculty of Architecture, Polytechnic Institute of Turin became known in the world of web for being one of the founders and Marketing Director of Bakeca.it www.bakeca.it, the free classifieds internet site, the first site of its kind in Italy with more than 1,800,000 single visitors a month.

In 2003, Daniele founded ALTREMENTI an association for young designers and creators www.fucina-altrementi.it who promoted and organised exhibitions, debates, events and competitions.

He also was Director of the Altrementi magazine. Today as in the past his efforts are to promote and support young talent, as well as trying to establish a link between the industrial/financial world and the creative world.

In the past he has taught as an assistant in the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin, Domus Academy of Milan and European Institute of Design Turin.

Currently he works as a consultant (www.danielealberti.com ) concentrating his efforts on the product development of innovative technological products for the telecommunications sector.

The idea of the Internet project Myminutes.org- says Daniele Alberti- was born so as create new work methods regarding the web and to realise the ideas of young talent. For many young people in Italy it is difficult, if not impossible to become entrepreneurs and gain credability in an ever complex and competitive market. Myminutes.org wants to be a self-financing entity and become an example for all those who have original, creative and innovative ideas”.

P.S. HERE also in Italian.

What does it mean to “officially” become a Blogger? ;) [Pandecena 2.0 in Milan]

Yesterday, I think, it happened also with me! It was the first time when I participated in a Bloggers' Party. I did not attend any BarCamp earlier, 'coz I am not very similar to the other Bloggers, in the sense that I write mostly about Milan-IN, also about Social Networking/ Social Computing but it's always in respect to my role/ mission in the Club.

However, since the era of Web 2.0 has come, and "there is no life" if not to become a Blogger and working with Bloggers :=),- it was necessary also for me to "officially" become the Blogger and to be "certified" by another famous Bloggers, right? :)

And the "chance" has come yesterday. It was Pandecena 2.0 (Pandecena 2.0 - Milano, 13 Giugno 2007), a pizza/beer Party for Bloggers-friends, organized by Luca Conti (known as Mr. Pandemia and Luca Conti-Blogger). I was there because thanks to the recent promotional campaign of Andrea Boaretto's Event, I met Luca and he invited me there.

The other Bloggers participated in the Event are listed here, although the official PandeWiki is here, it's just that somebody has cleaned the current page. btw I am asking is anyone (close to TI?) could identify the destroyer by IP? ;)

Well, the Party was just great. I am waiting for the others to write their stories, upload their pictures, when Luca will put the movie to YouTube (?) :) Then it will be easy to check Technorati and Google about how it was... a foto- Luca Conti: Let's make the show!

Probably one of the main goals for me was to meet Luca Conti to speak with him about Milan-IN (and the other interesting Social projects like MVNO.it). And this goal was achieved completely I think :)

It was a pleasure to met Elena Franco (the DElyMyth), that seems to be quite cool IT guy, apart from that she is a nice girl. It would be a fortune to involve Elena somehow to our FOSS project about Social Networking :) why not?

It was really great to finally meet Emanuele Quintarelli, the Power of the Italian Web 2.0 world. It's known that Milan-IN and Netwo are now looking to join the forces to promote all-web2.0 and the fact that we're Business Club 2.0 just confirms that.
a foto- Emanuele: always on the service! ;)

Then for sure it was really cool to have a chat "a bit about everything" with Francesco Magnocavallo from Blogo, the same Francesco that has made it with me :)

Well, at the end I must admit that the real feeling of "Blogger's certification"  has come to me after a chat with Lele Dainesi, the mithical person I was always looking to speak with :) Lele is something special ;)... and also the "business card" he gave me is something special, I'll show it later, I should take a pic of it and yesterday night I came home at 1:30 so it was too late for the arts :)

Well, I think it's enough for the first attempt. Next time I gonna speak about the other people and funny chats. There I met some very unusual and interesting people, people that we call in Italian "ma che personaggio!", like Mr. MyMinutes.org, Daniele for example ;), and some others. but it's all for the next time!

P.S. thanks for the pictures to Elena

UPDATE OF 20-06-2007

Well, some time already passed, I could walk through the people met and their projects, present some of them to another my good and trusted contacts. Seems to have been really useful that Event! not only very funny :)

I already mentioned in this article the project of Daniele Alberti, MYMINUTES.ORG, see this my article. Daniele is the one who I called above 'Il Personaggio';) and in fact he is! And I will continue blogging about some other people/projects later.

Also as promised, here is the 'Business Card' of Lele, the VIP 2.0 and a very nice guy :) Lele is from the people that never have enough time to check all the mails, IM, social messages and so on, so from his words- the best way to reach him is to give him a direct cal.

I am going to pick up Lele for the upcoming Event of Milan-IN birthday, that will take place on the next week and is expected a very exciting evening!

I've invited also Luca Conti to Milan-IN's Party, another person with the life scheduled in a similar way to Lele, in the sense it's highly difficult to catch him, just have a look at the upcoming.org's agenda of Luca...

Hope to see you both, guys, Milan-IN will have its TWO YEARS birthday, it's such a joy!
